Our Care worker loan is exclusively for permanent employees working in the care industry who are not yet a Wherry Dragon Credit Union member.

We know that care workers are often targeted by loan sharks and illegal money lenders. Our exclusive care worker loans are available to support those working in the care industry providing a safe and ethical alternative.​

Conditions

 

You must have completed a Care Worker Loan Application Form.

You must be employed by one of our employer partners and work in the care industry or be living in the same household as an existing member and work in the care industry.

You must be employed for a minimum of 16 hours per week on a permanent basis.

The loan must be repaid over a maximum term of 12 months.

You must save £10 a month on top of your loan repayment.

You may apply for a top up to your loan after making 3 monthly repayments.
